RTM 499: In affiliation with Aztecs Abroad, the Center for Surf Research is offering a 3 unit special study class in sustainable surf tourism management. The class is based around a three week surf trip to Peru where students will get first-hand experience of international surfing tourism, volunteer in the local community, and receive classes in sustainable surf tourism from Dr. Jess Ponting, the leading academic in the emerging field of sustainable surf tourism management.

RTM 404 & 413 & 470: Aztecs abroad will also be offering 6 units of credit over the winter break including three units of GE diversity credit. These classes will be based around a three week field trip to New Zealand.
In the summer of 2012 Aztecs Abroad will be offering up to nine credit points for a class based on a month long trip to Northern Australia and Fiji.

A course in sustainable surf tourism is being developed for launch in the summer of 2012.
