CSR Forms International Association of Surfing Academics

The Center for Surf Research has initiated an international community of surf researchers through the establishment of the International Association of Surfing Academics. The IASA aims to promote cross-disciplinary research and collaboration into the problems and opportunities that the surfing presents the world. The first IASA newsletter featuring book reviews, research notes from members, summaries of newly published research, and more is coming in soon. You can check out IASA’s 60+ members from 12 countries under the research tab on the CSR website. The inaugural IASA conference is being planned for either September or November 2015 at SDSU.
