Five New Surf Tourism Internships Available!

The Center for Surf Research has been posting a lot of internships over the summer in amazing surf tourism destinations all over the world!

Panama

Surfers Garden, Panama

The dream destination for any surfer or beach enthusiast, Surfers Garden Panama has as much diversity as any location on the planet.  Come experience the world class surfing, diving, and fishing that this sustainable surf resort has to offer.  Become entrenched in the culture, environment, and communities of this Pacific Ocean Panamanian city while aiding the management of the daily operations of the Surfers Garden Resort.


 
Nicaragua

Rancho Cecilia, Nicaragua

This self-sustaining beach community generates all of its own power through the use of solar panels and wind turbines.  Come enjoy being a Surf Intern by giving daily surf lessons and assist guests of this gorgeous surf community enjoy their stay.  San Juan del Sur and Playa Madera offer the perks of a fishing village off the beaten path with as many outdoor activities that you could ask for.


 
Samoa

Aganoa Lodge, Samoa

As a Hospitality Major you would be crazy to not spend 6-12 weeks on this South Pacific island paradise.  While coordinating management and hospitality of the lodge, enjoy over a dozen surf breaks that are virtually untouched.  Ensure the guests are enjoying their stay while you have the time of your life.


 
Scorpion Bay

Scorpion Bay, Mexico

The Scorpion Bay Club located in San Janico, Mexico is looking for motivated interns to join their Marketing, Advertising, and Development divisions.  They are looking to promote and further their name while remaining a diamond in the rough of Baja Sur.  Home to one of the longest waves in the world and beautiful coastlines there is plenty to offer at Scorpion Bay.


 
Peru

Coast 2 Coast, Peru

Any creative mind would have a field day on this Groundswell Educational Travel internship.  These interns will aid the Peruvians in capturing their everyday lives and culture through creative photo and video workshops.  Through the use of audio visual and innovative education techniques you can enable local communities to pursue creative projects for all to enjoy.  The surfing community of Lobitos is waiting for the passionate student you are to come capture all it has to offer.
