I am an economist specialising in macro and development economics at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on how countries can best manage their natural resource wealth with a focus on macroeconomics and optimal monetary policy in these settings.
I am currently a D.Phil student in the Department of Economics here at Oxford and am also a member of the Oxford Centre for the Analysis of Resource Rich Economies (OxCARRE) and the Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE).
In addition to my academic work, I have worked as a professional economist in both the public and private sector, including as a government economist in both the United Kingdom and South Africa.
I completed my MSc in Economics for Development at the University of Oxford in 2011 and my BSc (hons) in Economics at the University of Sussexin 2008.
