Biography
Dan Webber is one of the six Webber brothers, a family of surfers, writers, filmmakers and designers, who have been contributing to surf culture since the 1970s. The Webber brand is mostly linked to surfboard design. However, the Webber Wave Pool could radically transform the culture, extending its influence, while providing the tools for wave design. He has published an academic paper, entitled Zen and the Art of Surfboard Design, which forms the basis of a unique philosophy he calls Surfism. He has a master’s degree in linguistics and publishes a literary magazine entitled: Bondi Stories, based on the famous beach where he learnt to surf.
